Mr. Kumaravel is credited with eradicating the word 'housewife'. Naturals grew from a small idea and its success story dates a decade back when the seeds for the salon were sown by his wife, Mrs. K Veena. Today it is a 125 strong salon chain across the country.

Mr. Kumaravel's belief is that women are as equal, if not more, efficient than men. According to him, Naturals' strength is the easy and simple formula of helping an ordinary woman, who is passionate about becoming a business woman, by engaging her in franchising options and giving her adequate guidance and support to start and establish the business.

Mr. Kumaravel's mission is that with 10,000 job opportunities, he wants to create 1000 successful women entrepreneurs of 3000 salons and, thereby, 50,000 employment opportunities by 2016.
