Ms. Dinaz Madhukar, Executive Vice President of DLF Luxury Retail & Hospitality, is a stalwart in the hospitality sector in India and a name to be reckoned with in the ever-growing luxury retail space.

With over 24 years of operational experience with The Taj Group of Hotels, India’s largest luxury hospitality chain, Dinaz has worked across cities, hotels and departments. Her time with the Taj Group includes a 6 year stint in war torn Yemen during the 1991 Iraq-Kuwait Gulf War and the North & South Yemen Civil war.

Having led multiple functions during her tenure at Taj, her final posting was as the General Manager of the charming Taj Connemara, a heritage property in Chennai with a fascinating 150 year history.

She holds a Master’s degree in General Management from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in General Law. She has, is her substantial list of accomplishments, a Personalised Leadership Development Programme and a corporate MBA through Common Purpose Meridian Programme. Ms. Madhukar has also completed her Dupont Training for leading safety efforts, and holds external access for the TATA Busines Excellence Awards based on Malcolm Baldridge Awards.

Currently, she is responsible for providing executive leadership and management to DLF’s Luxury Retail & Hospitality vertical which includes DLF Emporio, The Chanakya, The Lodhi, Hilton Garden Inn (Saket) & DLF Restaurants including the iconic SET’Z.

From the inception to the launch of The Chanakya, DLF’s newest addition to its luxury collection and a joint venture with NDMC at Chanakyapuri, she is spearheading the project and heads the Business Unit including Leasing, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

In addition to managing DLF’s Luxury Retail & Hospitality, she has been honoured with the Female Professional of the Year by Franchise India and was included in the list of 50 Most Talented Retail Professionals of India by Asia Retail Congress. She has recently received Outstanding Achievement Award by ET Now at Global Awards for Retail excellence 2018.

Under her leadership, DLF Emporio & The Lodhi have been recognised with numerous accolades over the years, particularly in areas of safety and security.
