Vinod Krishnan is Head, e-Commerce & CIO at Wal-Mart India since March 2012. He has over twenty one years of work experience, primarily in the Business Technology space in roles of increasing responsibility.

Prior to joining Wal-Mart, he was CIO � Global at the Jubilant Bhartia Group based out of Noida, India. Vinod has over thirteen years of work experience with General Electric, across geographies including India, Germany and the Netherlands and across businesses including Plastics, Silicones and Capital Equipment Services as well as the India Corporate Office where he led cross-business initiatives. While at GE, he completed the prestigious Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP) and Experienced Information Management Program (EIMP) and has held various Pole and Country IT Leadership roles since 1998. He started his career as a Management Trainee at Hindustan Unilever limited in 1993.
