Pushpa Bector is the Senior Vice President of DLF Utilities Ltd and heads the leasing and mall management division of DLF Mall of India, the largest upcoming retail destination of the country which is spread across 1.9 million sqftof retail space in the National Capital Region, NOIDA. She would be taking care of marketing and operations of the mall which is slated for a launch in the first quarter of 2014.

Bector has an extensive experience of around 20 years, has been a renowned name in the retail and mall business domain. In her last role as the Vice President & Mall Head of DLF Promenade, Bector established footfall of 1 million per month and created operations & marketing programs for more than three years ensuring high sales for all retailers at the mall. She was highly involved in the designing of systems & processes, operations and marketing. DLF Promenade today is known as the fashion destination in Delhi. DLF Promenade was chosen as the �Best Admired Shopping Mall- Marketing and Consumer promotions� and �Best Mall of the year�. She also headed the Food and Beverage Division, thereby, establishing over six food courts & handled the leasing of the retail space in the segment. The concept became successful making her a renowned name in the F&B segment.

Bector began her career with the Oberoi Group of hotels & was part of the prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) program. She later joined Domino�s Pizza and continued as a Marketing Manager for five years introducing the concept chain of restaurants in India and designed product promotions and redemption programmes. She then took plunge into direct marketingin Avon Inc., and popularised the concept of door to door marketing. She also served as the CEO for Funkie Orbits (Panoramic Entertainment Pvt Ltd) by the established Apollo Tyres Group where she was responsible for making the concept popular and bringing in more children to play at the first �Drop & Shop� children food and entertainment chain in India
