Armed with an Engineer-MBA background, Jairath began his professional journey as a Trainee Engineer with Hero Honda Motors and then moved on to hold several key positions with Escorts, Yamaha, Godrej and Hindware - Somany Group. Among his most enriching and passionate experiences are the turnaround assignments during his Godrej tenure as well as the conceptualisation and establishment of the EVOK Home Interior Solutions, start-up retail venture for HSIL.

During his rich career span of about 24 years, he has successfully managed multiple domestic and International SBU operations with diversified stints across sectors like automotive, engineering, consumer durables, FMCG and retail.
