An Electronics Engineer with Post Graduate Degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), Abhishek Chakraborty served a leading management consulting firm and is also experienced in the Investment Banking arena prior to joining DTDC as a Director on the Board. He is a management specialist with expertise in Strategic Planning & Execution and currently leads DTDC�s core Express Business. He is the architect behind many new business developments in DTDC such as launch of Premium Express Products (PEP), pioneering flagship stores of DTDC New World under the Retail SBU and creating India�s first pan-India e-retail Logistics brand DOTZOT among others. He has played a key role in re-shaping DTDC�s operational footprint and re-engineering of its Business and Service infrastructure. Mr. Chakraborty has also spearheaded technological innovations such as GPS-enabled fleets, mobility devices for real-time tracking and transition to a SAP-environment in the organization. His initiatives have re-defined DTDC�s sales approach, making it India�s leading brand in Express Service with holistic offerings in Logistics & 3PL Solution. He is currently leading the Journey of transforming DTDC into India's most preferred end-to-end Logistics, Express and Retail Services conglomerate with a comprehensive global reach.
