Vidita Kochar Jain is the co-founder of Jewelbox, the country's most trusted lab-grown diamond jewelry brand. Together with her brother and co-founder Nipun Kochar, Vidita spearheads a new era of conscious luxury that makes exquisite diamond jewelry accessible to all.
Born in Kolkata to a family of professionals, Vidita is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from the prestigious Indian School of Business. Her strong financial acumen and business expertise have been instrumental in her entrepreneurial journey.
Vidita's entrepreneurial journey began at 20 when she co-founded the AdTech startup Planmyad with Nipun. This early venture provided her with valuable insights into the startup ecosystem. She then gained corporate experience at Swiggy before launching Jewelbox in May 2022 with her brother Nipun, leveraging her diverse background to create a revolutionary jewelry brand.
The idea for Jewelbox sparked when Vidita discovered her engagement ring featured an environmentally friendly, lab-grown diamond. This personal experience inspired her to create a brand that offers stunning, ethically sourced jewelry without compromise. Vidita envisions Jewelbox as more than a brand – it's a movement towards conscious, inclusive luxury.
