experience in the
personal care segment, spanning almost two decades, across large MNCs like L’Oreal,
Unilever, Raymond
Consumer Care and the likes. Having worked across multiple domains like Brand building,
Consumer and
Category understanding and Strategy Development, she has had experiences across the full
spectrum of
business management and comes with a deep understanding of beauty and D2C business as a
whole.
Uttara’s deep passion to provide consumers the freedom to choose what they actually need, to
reach their
skincare objectives is the cornerstone upon which Magical Blends was conceptualised. Being a
living
organ, skin is affected by both internal and external factors and is constantly changing.
Uttara’s idea
was very unique - to provide consumers the freedom and choice to use whatever products they
needed,
based on their personal preference, instead of being boxed into the usual brackets of dry
skin, normal
skin or oily skin. Her first-hand experience of designing & launching new products and
crafting
compelling communication, together with the ability to generate consumer insights is what
has led to
this unique brand being launched. It is a testament to her original thought that the concept
has been
patented as being the only one of its kind, in this crowded consumer market space, in less
than 1 year
from launch.
