Anant Tanted is the Founder and CEO of The Indian Garage Co., one of India's leading homegrown fast-fashion D2C brands. Born and raised in Kolkata, Anant hails from a family of garment manufacturers, which inspired him to pursue a career in the fashion industry. A veteran in the fashion industry with over 17 years of experience, Anant started his journey in college by exhibiting surplus branded garments. To gain further technical expertise, Anant worked with one of India's leading apparel manufacturers for 2 years, where he gained invaluable production and fabric knowledge. In 2011, Anant started TIGC after realizing that there was a gap in the value fashion market for menswear in India. With the vision to democratize fashion and make it accessible to all, Anant has built a homegrown brand over the years that is inclusive, affordable, and on par with international fashion standards.
