In his almost 3 decade career, Devangshu has consistently worked at ahead-of-the-curve businesses. Devangshu began his formal career in the consumer sector in 1990 with the leading retail chain in India of that time, eventually heading the category that contributed one-third of the company's sales. He then worked as part of the launch team of a 50:50 JV of an international fashion brand in marketing & distribution. Thereafter, he joined a nascent management consulting firm at its very early stage and contributed to its growth into the largest firm in its focus sector as a joint-venture with the leading global consulting firm in the sector. He then co-founded a web-based fashion supply chain solutions business in 1999-2000.

Subsequently, Devangshu founded Third Eyesight in 2003 and co-founded PVC Partners (an early-stage venture acceleration firm) in 2007.

Devangshu has led consulting engagements related to strategy, operations and organisational change for clients from Asia, Europe, and the USA, with size ranging up to annual sales of over US$ 80 billion, from sectors including lifestyle and fashion, food & grocery, agri-business, home & DIY, consumer services, quick service restaurants, e-commerce, information technology, professional services and social development. Third Eyesight's clients include market-leading corporate businesses and family firms from across the world, as well as government organisations and trade associations in various sectors.

Through PVC Partners, Devangshu has engaged with companies from sectors including renewable energy, pharmaceutical research, women's empowerment, education and technology. Since 2007, PVC Partners has worked with over 150 entrepreneurs in various ways, and with incubators, accelerators and investors to structure acceleration.

Devangshu is a post-graduate in Marketing & Merchandising from the first batch of National Institute of Fashion Technology, and holds a B. Sc. (Hons) degree in Zoology from the University of Delhi. He has also undergone venture capital development programmes by the European Venture Capital Association and by the London School of Business in conjunction with Indian School of Business (Hyderabad).
