The Indian Retail & eRetail Congress 2018( IReC) continues to stay true to its mission to highlight how businesses can cope with the change around them and as seamlessly as possible can shift to new business models, operational excellence & better organizational structure with agile culture and decision making. This year we have added another dimension to our agenda which is the Global Summit - to help retailers and Brands plan a global business both in India and outside India. A Chartered Accountant armed with a Law degree Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon'ble Minister for Commerce and Industry, Government of India is known as a man of action, having penchant for undertaking reforms and scripting turnarounds. He is well respected for his impeccable integrity, passion and commitment towards society at large.

Before assuming charge as the Minister for Commerce and Industry, he was the Minister for Railways. Under his leadership, Railways transformed from a slow moving behemoth into a fast, responsive organization.
