Subodh Mehta is a Mechanical Engineering from REC-Bhopal and PGDM from IIM-Bangalore. He had worked in BHEL, Bhopal for 3 years as a quality assurance engineer at the beginning of his career. He left BHEL to pursue PGDM from IIM � Bangalore and joined Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. He worked at various locations looking after sales of multi-categories like office furniture, security equipment, appliances, locks, etc in various states as Branch Manager.

Subodh joined Storwel Division in 2001 and turned around Storwel Division as Head of the Sales and Marketing. His strategized and executed diversification into home furniture business grew it into the Rs 800-crore business. Mehta successfully ensured the merger of retail division with Godrej Interio Division in 2008-09. He has lead from the front to make Godrej Interio as the market leader in Home Furniture business creating an All India Retail network of more than 200 Stores and 600 dealers.
