Kedar Apshankar has moved to Abof.com as its Deputy CEO after spending 11 years with Madura Fashion & Lifestyle Business, where he was COO for Peter England.

His key responsibilities include synergistically integrating Marketing, Own Brands, and External Brands functions at ABOF, which is a strategic need of this venture in its early phase. He is building ABOF's capabilities in areas of Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, and Marketing. CXOs of Own Brands, External Brands and Marketing functions work with him directly.

Kedar joined Aditya Birla Group's Madura business in 2005, and was one of the first Retail Directors to be appointed across Madura Business, when the Company was still new to Apparel & Lifestyle Retail. He is credited with setting up Van Heusen retail business and various processes and practices thereof.

He holds an MBA from SIBM, Pune and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune. He has done executive programs at XLRI Jamshedpur, INSEAD Singapore, The Tuck Business School (USA), and The Strategy Academy.
