He comes with over three decades of experience in the operations, supply-chain and logistics sector and has been with Amazon India for over 4 years. He started as a Zonal Director for West Fulfillment Centers (FCs) at Amazon, and subsequently lead all the FCs across India. During this period, he brought in a strong focus on the basics – driven by a safety-first culture which has led to a superior customer experience that has achieved a cost leadership position. Currently, he is effectively spearheading various innovations within the company’s last mile operations and will continue to drive the tremendous growth of the company’s delivery network. Karuna has previously held leadership positions in organisations like AB InBev India & South East Asia, SABMiller India, PepsiCo, among others. He holds a BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He also holds an MBS degree in Operations from ICFAI, Post-Graduation in Executive Coaching from Coaching Foundation India and PhD in Supply Chain Management from OPJS university.
