Amit Sharma is the Co-founder & CEO of ShopX. The primary vision of Shopxis to digitally transform the 12 million small merchants across the country, which constitute about 90% of the Indian consumption economy of US$700 billion, and build a retail operating platform for ordering, delivery and localized customer support. In his previous life as an engineer, Amit has designed and built one of the first Grid Computing Management Platforms in the world. He is the lead inventor of two international patents.

Amit holds an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, UCLA and an Electrical Engineering degree in undergrad. He is passionate about science, technology, teaching and human advancement.
